Another New Route from Rzeszów – Flights to Malta with Ryanair

Starting April 2, 2025, Ryanair will launch direct flights from Rzeszów to Malta. This is yet another addition to the airport’s regular route offerings, with flights scheduled twice a week.

Our network of connections continues to grow, and I’m delighted that the Irish carrier is introducing this exciting route in the upcoming summer season. Malta is a picturesque gem of Europe, offering a Mediterranean climate and numerous tourist attractions, making it an ideal destination for a long summer vacation or a weekend city break, said Adam Hamryszczak, president of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport, during the announcement.

Malta is often called the pearl of the Mediterranean, combining a rich history, captivating culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Visitors are impressed by numerous UNESCO-listed landmarks, while the mild climate makes the island a year-round attraction. Malta offers excellent conditions for relaxing on scenic beaches, enjoying water sports, and exploring its vibrant cultural and culinary scene – from traditional festivals to modern restaurants featuring regional delicacies. Every new route is a testament to the airport’s development, and I congratulate it, especially on another year of serving over a million passengers. It’s wonderful to see our airport diversifying travel options for local residents and, beyond well-established destinations, consistently adding new ones, making it the top choice not only for leisure, said Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

Malta will be the ninth destination Ryanair offers from Rzeszów for the 2025 summer season, alongside sunny Alicante, Milan, and Zadar, as well as island destinations like Dublin, Bristol, Manchester, and London (Stansted and Luton). Wizz Air will continue flights to Rome and Milan, Air Baltic to Riga, Lufthansa to Munich, and LOT to Newark and Warsaw. Charter flights will cover destinations in Turkey, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Albania, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt.
