Lufthansa from Rzeszów to Munich twice a day
From 31 March, Lufthansa will be launching two flights a day from Jasionka Airport to Munich, one of Europe's largest transfer hubs with connecting flights to almost any place in the world.
- The German carrier returned to us in April 2023 after the pandemic slump, with daily flights, which have proved popular not only among businessmen, but also holidaymakers travelling to exotic destinations or weekend city breaks. To our great satisfaction, Lufthansa's offer has now been expanded to include as many as 14 connections a week – comments Bartosz Górski, Vice President of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport.
In addition to the afternoon flights (11:00 flight from Franz Josef Strauss airport arriving at 12:25 in Jasionka, and 13:00 flight from Jasionka arriving at 14:30 in the Bavarian capital), Lufthansa is adding an evening connection taking off from Germany at 21:50 (arriving in Poland at 23:15) and a morning one from Jasionka at 6:05 (arriving in Munich at 7:35). The flights are served by Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft, which can take up to 90 passengers on board.
- By adding a single additional flight per day, we are offering a great deal of opportunities for our passengers to reach various corners of the world via Munich. The prestige of our airport grows with each new flight added – comments Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Province, which is the majority shareholder in the airport.
