Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport wins the 2023 Subcarpathian Economic Award!
The airport in Jasionka near Rzeszów won the 22nd edition of the Subcarpathian Economic Award contest in the category of large companies (over 250 employees). CEO Adam Hamryszczak received the statuette during a gala in the G2A Arena, a business facility next to the airport.
“Thank you very much for the award, which I would like to dedicate to all the airport employees who implement the airport development strategy with great commitment and professionalism. I assure you that we are not resting on our laurels and in the coming years we still want to be a catalyst for economic growth and the development of tourism in the region,” emphasises Adam Hamryszczak, CEO of the Rzeszów-Jasionka airport.
The aim of the Subcarpathian Economic Award contest organized by the Business Promotion Centre is to select a group of the best and most economically active companies from the Subcarpathian voivodeship, which, thanks to the results achieved in their business, are or may become an inspiration for others. A total of 18 companies received statuettes, and 123 companies from the region took part in the contest. Winners were selected by the jury.

A group of experts appreciated the dynamics of the airport's development in all areas, with particular emphasis on investment activities and record-breaking passenger and cargo results.
In the previous edition of this contest, CEO Adam Hamryszczak received the award in the “Manager” category, and 2022 was summed up with the award for the best small airport of the year, awarded by the Centre for Aviation (CAPA), a prestigious industry association. Recently, during the 2023 Golden Hundred gala, the airport was awarded as the leader in net sales profitability in the region.
