- Our years of partnership with Baltona give further results in the form of a shop and new catering points, in line with the latest trends in the industry. They will improve the comfort of travellers flying from Rzeszów to the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, or other Schengen zone countries. This is crucial, especially given that Jasionka has serviced a record-breaking number of passengers this year. I’m pleased that our partnership relations with Baltona allow us to plan long-term development, and I firmly believe that more successful initiatives will follow - says Michał Tabisz, vice-president of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport Management Board.

Baltona Ministore, located in the Non-Schengen zone, covers almost 45 m2 and offers a wide selection of products, including cosmetics of the highest quality from world-renowned brands, print media, toys, travelling accessories, as well as a selection of tobacco products and alcohol. Baltona has opened Cavarious cafes in both departure zones, behind the security check. Each of them occupies over 110 m2 and can seat around 50 customers. In addition to providing a private space for working during business trips, the cafes also offer a pleasant atmosphere for travellers to rest in a cosy setting before their flight. The menu includes a variety of drinks and sweet snacks.

- We are very happy that Jasionka is one of the first airports to launch and present our latest formats. Our close partnership has been ongoing for almost 15 years now, and support and kindness have been extended to us during that time, as well as during the nearly two months of active renovation work, which are always a challenge with the airport operating at the peak of the season. That is why I want to thank the airport management board, airport employees, and Baltona staff for the amount of work they put in. When designing the new locations, we prioritised the comfort and convenience of travellers - adds Jacek Sak, vice-president of Baltona.

During the opening, passengers had the opportunity to feel the seaside atmosphere close to the cafes in the departure zones and try the cafes’ specialities. There were also many attractions for the youngest.
