Adam Hamryszczak becomes vice-president of the Regional Airports Association

President of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport Adam Hamryszczak has been elected by the general assembly of the Regional Airports Association as vice-president of the organisation for the 2023-2025 term.

The Regional Airports Association now has three executives; each performs his function socially. Radosław Włoszek, the president of the Kraków-Balice John Paul II International Airport, was appointed president. Andrzej Hawryluk, the president of the Lublin Airport, is a vice-president of the Regional Airports Association as well.

Adam Hamryszczak has completed his master’s degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Rzeszów, and has received his master’s degree in administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska in Lublin. A scholarship holder of the Educational Enterprise Foundation in Łódź, Adam Hamryszczak is a graduate of post-graduate studies at the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University of Business, and holds the title of Master of Business Administration.

In 2008, he joined the Marshal’s Office of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, initially in the Enterprise Support Department. He became Deputy Director of the Department of Regional Development afterwards, and from July 2014 he was the Director of the Department of Management of the Regional Operational Program of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in 2014-2020. From November 2015, he was the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Development headed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and from January 18, 2018, to June 4, 2019, he held the same position in the Ministry of Investment and Development. He was also a member of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. On June 22, 2019, he became the president of the Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. He is a member of the University Council of the Rzeszów University of Technology from 2021 until 2024.

The Regional Airport Association was previously managed by Artur Tomasik, the head of Katowice Airport. The association unifies the following airports: Bydgoszcz-Szwederowo, Gdańsk-Rębiechowo, Katowice-Pyrzowice, Kraków-Balice, Lublin, Łódź-Lublinek, Modlin, Olsztyn-Mazury, Poznań-Ławica, Rzeszów-Jasionka and Wrocław-Strachowice.
