Lagardere due to expand the commercial and catering zone at the airport in Jasionka
Lagardere Travel Retail signed a contract to develop an airport commercial and catering zone at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. New shops and a perfume shop due to open in the public area of the passenger terminal.
Under the contract prolonging the cooperation between the airport and Lagardere, ‘1Minute’ and '#VisitPodkarpackie' will open by the end of October this year, while 'Aelia Beauty' will open by the end of the first quarter of 2023. The new commercial spaces will make waiting for the departure of a plane, a transit flight or the arrival of loved ones more comfortable.
- We want to be at all airports in Poland, and, from our point of view, the airport near Rzeszów is one of the first to have already returned to normality after the pandemic - says Andrzej Kacperski, CEO of Lagardere Travel Retail Polska, who has been our guest today at a press conference to mark the signing of the new contract.
- Thanks to the very good cooperation with Lagardere, a tycoon offering a very wide range of products, new catering and retail outlets in particular will be created. For our passengers, more and more of whom have been arriving at the airport recently, these will be interesting places to start their journey in comfort. We will strengthen the non-aviation revenue of our airport, which is also very important to us - says Adam Hamryszczak, CEO of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport.
He also mentions the expansion of the airport car park, which will gain almost 500 new parking spaces in the middle of the next year, and the dynamic development of VIP services: since the beginning of 2022, almost 1,500 travellers have been served at Jasionka using the special facilities offered by the airport.
Lagardere is the world's third-largest trade book publisher and a global leader in retail travel services. It is present in 260 airports worldwide.
