Subcarpathia famous in Manhattan
Over a hundred representatives of Polish communities, including numerous representatives of tourist businesses, diplomats and journalists, participated in a meeting promoting transatlantic flights from Newark to Rzeszow, which was held in the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York on Janurary 23, 2018.
A new direct route, which will be launched by LOT Polish Airlines on 29 April, was presented during the event organised at the initiative of Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport. The flag carrier as well as Subcarpathian Province, Rzeszow City and Arlamow Hotel presented their offers. The airport in Jasionka was represented by Michal Tabisz – President of the Rzeszow-Jasionka Airport.
- A vast majority of tickets from the US to Rzeszow are bought by our compatriots living across the ocean; therefore, we did our best to provide them with information on the new route. Thanks to the hospitality of the Consul General, Mr Maciej Golubiewski, as well as the support of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section and the representatives of LOT in New York, we managed to organise a professional promotion event within a short time - said Michał Tabisz.
Apart from the passenger flights, the cargo transport offer of Jasionka Airport was also welcomed. Regular flights between Rzeszow and Newark served in a modern cargo terminal will open up new opportunities for companies using airfreight.
