LOTAMS Commences Operations at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport
At the end of October, LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS), Poland's leading aircraft maintenance provider, officially launched operations at Jasionka Airport, located near Rzeszów. The first operation involved a comprehensive heavy maintenance inspection of one of the world’s largest wide-body aircraft, the Boeing 787.
“We are pleased to welcome LOTAMS as it begins operations at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The sight of the first aircraft in our hangars confirms our decision to establish a service base in the aviation hub of Podkarpacie. This is the first step toward creating an impressive service infrastructure, which will not only strengthen LOTAMS's market presence but also enable our airport to advance its growth and business diversification strategies. We extend our best wishes to LOTAMS in securing major contracts, and we hope the company’s employees find satisfaction in their work. On our part, we are committed to providing full support in achieving the company's ambitious goals”, said Bartosz Górski, Vice President of the Rzeszow Ulma Family Airport.
LOTAMS has secured all the necessary regulatory approvals and successfully completed audits conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority (ULC), affirming the highest standards of safety and service quality. The new Rzeszów location will expand the number of available maintenance slots, contributing to more efficient management of aircraft servicing for international clients.

LOTAMS’s primary base is located in Warsaw, where the company operates four maintenance hangars, offering a full range of aircraft inspections. Rzeszów now becomes LOTAMS's second location in Poland, delivering maintenance services for both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. The additional hangar in Jasionka not only increases service capacity but also creates new employment opportunities for skilled aviation professionals, contributing to the growth of the local labor market.
“The launch of our base in Rzeszów marks an important stage in the development of our company and the increase of our operational potential. This investment enables us to add three new lines dedicated to heavy maintenance, including services for B737 and B787 aircraft, increasing our flexibility and helping to better adapt LOTAMS’s offering to our client's growing needs and expectations. Moreover, the technical capabilities of the Jasionka hangar will allow us to perform the most comprehensive checks—D-checks—on B787 aircraft. I am confident that our new maintenance base will solidify our position in the European MRO market and uphold the reputation of top-quality Polish aviation services, both domestically and internationally”, said Aleksandra Juda, President of LOTAMS.
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS) is a member of the PGL Capital Group. The company provides a full suite of maintenance services, including base, line, and workshop maintenance, as well as painting and aesthetic enhancements. Since 2010, LOTAMS has been operating as an independent entity.
