Families with children have priority at the airport
A multimedia playground, special rooms for families with small children, and above all, priority in the check-in queue – these are just some elements of the "Family Friendly Airport" program being implemented at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The airport handles a historically rich network of connections and is breaking records for the number of passengers.
"Passenger safety and comfort are our priorities. Choosing an airport is not just about selecting a good destination but also about the quality of service. The record number of holiday destinations generates an increased number of travellers with children, which is why we have been implementing a program dedicated specifically to them for the past three years. Families with small children this season have priority service at the Ticket and baggage check-in and the Security control" - says Adam Hamryszczak, President of Rzeszów-Jasionka Ulma Family Airport, which consistently introduces new services for passengers.
As part of the "Family Friendly Airport" program, several special features for families have been prepared, namely, specially marked wide parking spaces near the terminal, a relaxation area, and dedicated rooms for parents with children equipped with changing tables and bottle warmers. Specially marked family restrooms are equipped with toilet seat inserts and step stools.
Families with children can also expect priority in check-in and security control.
A multimedia playground located in the public area is popular, not only among the youngest visitors. A loyalty program called "Little Traveler" has also been introduced, encouraging children to collect stamps in a specially prepared passport (available at the Passenger Service Desk). Completing the entire journey and collecting the appropriate number of stamps allows them to receive a reward in the form of aircraft models.
This season, it is possible to fly directly from the Rzeszów airport to 28 destinations in 15 countries: Turkey, Greece, Spain, Egypt, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, as well as Italy, Croatia, the USA, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Poland.
