More parking spaces at Rzeszów Airport
On Friday, September 15th this year, a new parking lot was officially opened at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport. The additional 458 spaces increased the existing capacity by over 50 percent. The investment cost is approximately PLN 10 million.
According to Adam Hamryszczak, CEO of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport: - The opening of new long-term parking spaces is our response to the increasing passenger traffic at our airport. This year, between mid-June and mid-September, we handled over 400 charters, more than twice as many as last year. The period in which tour operators offer holiday packages departing from Rzeszów has also lengthened, so the investment to expand parking space has become one of our priorities.
After the expansion, the entire capacity is over 1,300 spaces (including 53 for disabled people), out of which 750 are located in the long-term zone, which will be equipped with an electronic reservation system. Prices remained unchanged and are still among the lowest in Poland.

According to the Marshal of Podkarpackie Voivodeship Władysław Ortyl, who is the main shareholder of Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport: - Our airport is a lever for the region’s development, so subsequent investments increasing passenger comfort, such as a new parking lot or a modernized commercial zone, make me very happy. They encourage more people to visit Podkarpacie.
The cost of investment, entirely financed from the airport company’s own funds, is over PLN 10 million. The construction was carried out by Elektromontaż Rzeszów S.A., and the parking system is operated by APCOA Parking Polska.
During the holiday season, one could fly to 24 destinations in 14 countries from Jasionka Airport. Currently, there are charter routes to Turkey, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, and Egypt. Besides that, there are regular connections to New York/Newark, Rome, Zadar, Munich, Warsaw, Dublin, and five destinations in the UK. Since the beginning of the year, the airport has already served more than 700,000 passengers.
